Video Recipe – Sesame crusted tuna and seaweed taco with Atlantic Salmon Pearls


  • 200g fresh Tuna – sliced into a long barrel
  • Sesame seeds
  • Japanese soy sauce
  • Seaweed snack (nori sheets) available from Asian grocery store
  • Baby cucumbers – thinly sliced
  • Kewpie mayonnaise


For the tuna, brush the piece in some Japanese soy sauce, then roll this through the white sesame seeds to evenly coat the outside.

Place the tuna into a medium heat pan, and continue to roll on each side, until the seeds are golden and fragrant. Set this aside to cool down before slicing into thin slices.

To assemble the seaweed taco, take a small nori sheet snack, and add some kewpie mayonnaise. Top with a slice of tuna and a disk of cucumber. Top this with salmon pearls and repeat!
