Storage & Shelf Life FAQ

All Yarra Valley Caviar and Polanco Sturgeon Black Caviar are processed under strict HACCP and Food Safety Programme guidelines, ensuring a high quality product with full traceability – to give you, the consumer, full confidence every time you enjoy our products.

To ensure the product is kept in the best condition, please follow these guidelines;

  • Product to be stored below 4 degrees Celsius – (choose the coldest part of the fridge where temperature will fluctuate the least, away from the door)
  • Consume within 4 days of opening
  • Product will come with close to 60 day shelf life – from date of packing. Refer to side of jar or bottom of tins for use by date information
